The Aerial Dreamscape

The three colored pencil illustrations that together makes makes The Aerial Dreamscape triptych.
The Aerial Dreamscape Triptych

Admiring the great triptych paintings by Hieronymus Bosch inspired me to make my own triptych artwork.

Colored pencil drawing: An owl is scowling and looking to the right at a fish floating in the air. A thread is coming out of the mouth of the fish and a five-pointed star (pentagram) is attached to the end of the string. The fish looks hopefully at the star. Roses and leaves are floating in the air.

Colored pencil drawing: A bird with two facing left and right. The right facing bird has an open beack with a tiny bird flying away from it, and this head is looking back at the other bird-head. The right facing bird is looking out at the viewer and has a closed beack with a tiny bird flying towards the beak. The birds are connected at the neck and have no body. Ten-pointed stars (decagrams) are at the upper left and right. In the center, in the space between the bird heads and where their necks are attached, is a flower, below the flower is a purple gemstone, and below that is a key. Roses and leaves are floating in the air.

Colored pencil drawing: An owl is smiling and looking to the left at a fish floating in the air. The fish looks worriedly back at the owl. A thread is coming out of the mouth of the fish and a five-pointed star (pentagram) is attached to the end of the string. Roses and leaves are floating in the air.
