The Hunn Stone Circles
Hunnfeltene is an extensive area of burial fields in Fredrikstad, Norway, part of the Oldtidsruta (“the ancient route”). These fields date primarily from the Nordic Bronze Age, around 1000 BCE, extending into the Pre-Roman Iron Age. I made brief visit to one of these fields with stone circles on my way to sites with petroglyphs in the area (I was driving from the Begby Gullskår Petroglyphs to the Hafslund petroglyphs)

Pictured here are just the first, most easily accessible area with stone rings. There are more graves and burial mounds along (and outside) the path further up in the forest.
