Aleksander made a rig for Alston using puppet shop today. I blocked out a walk cycle for Alston with it. I never animated with puppet shop before, but I found it very agreeable to work with after getting used to it.
One of the inspirations for the way Alston moves will be Goofy. Though we’re not planning to make it as cartoony as this Goofy inspired picture:
